La Neta originated in Stockholm, Sweden, fulfilling a wish to represent the traditional Mexican taquerías beyond Mexican borders. In Mexican Spanish slang, La Neta means “The Truth,” which perfectly sums up what this restaurant is all about: we’re a no-nonsense taquería with a love for authentic flavors and good times. We also have a soft spot for mezcal, tequila, and of course craft beer.

Mikkeller's collaboration with the people behind La Neta resulted in a welcome addition to the Copenhagen dining scene, bursting onto the stage with its powerful combination of rich and spicy Mexican food and world-class modern craft beer.

The interior of our Vesterbro location was designed to stay true to the style of a classic taquería, updated with the classic Mikkeller twist. Located on Istedgade, a central street cutting through Copenhagen's Vesterbro district, this place is perfect for hitting up when drinking, or for satisfying your hangover needs after hitting the bars a bit too hard.
