What is

Selma

?

Selma is a restaurant rooted in the Danish and Swedish cuisine, with a special focus on Danish open-faced rye bread sandwiches known as smørrebrød. At the helm is Swedish chef Magnus Pettersson, who has produced a truly unique spot with his constantly-changing dynamic and innovative menu and its strong focus on seasonal produce.

His belief in serious craftsmanship, respect for the produce, strong personal attention to detail, and down-to-earth approach to hospitality did not go unnoticed, and Selma was awarded the Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide for creating amazing food at a decent price. The restaurant aspires to make the best innovative smørrebrød in Denmark based on a deep understanding and respect for the traditions without being held back by them.

The kitchen is dictated by produce: the origin, the quality, and what is in season right now. We strongly believe that beer brewed with passion and skill becomes even more interesting when matched with our food. While we do love beer with character, natural wines and snaps made with seasonal ingredients are also dear to our hearts, and can be found on the menu as well.
