Back from De Molen
Today is the first day at the office after the festival at De Molen. So I'm a little tired, but certainly happy. To spend an entire weekend with happy beer geeks, brewers and colleagues is always a fantastic experience.
This year we had chosen to bring a lot of sour beer to the festival. Sour beer divides people in two: those who love them and those who don't. So while some went in vain for the well-known hoppy IPA's and big stouts from Mikkeller, others were standing by the Mikkeller stand for hours and tasted all 7 different spontaneous fermented beers that we had brought to this festival.
Kristina from West Lakeview Liquors in Chicago came by our stand, and as always, she supplied us with delicious merchandise. And as always, all women loved the Sour Bitch T-shirts Kristina had brought us. The picture for this blog post shows a happy Swedish woman who got one of the sought after T-shirts. The remaining T-shirts and a bunch of other goodies will soon be for sale in Mikkeller's WebShop.
Thank to Menno, Bea, John and the rest of the fantastic De Molen team, and all the volunteers that made it possible to create this great festival at De Molen.
Thank you for this year -we're already looking forward to next year’s festival.
