In case you haven’t heard, one of the most spectacular events in the history of Mikkeller will go down next Friday on the 1st of November at Mikkeller & Friends. Two of our Swedish friends, the brilliant tattoo artists and brothers, Jacob and Jonas Pedersen, from Crooked Moon Tattoo will travel across Øresund to lead the event and use their inky needles on who ever would like a cool tattoo designed by Mikkeller’s label designer and art director Keith Shore.
Both the brothers Pedersen are huge beer geeks, and met Mikkel, when they attended a beer dinner in their hometown Helsingborg. The infatuation was mutual and resulted in the Mikkeller Crooked Moon dIPA, a beer that has travelled worldwide.
Jacob and Jonas are some of Scandinavian’s most talented tattoo artists. The former won Ink Master Sweden 2012 and is one of the most sought-after tattoo-artists in Sweden as we speak. Recently Jacob did Mikkel’s latest tattoo – a cool skull with hop cones growing out of it.
Jacob and Jonas have done inky works of art by Keith Shore before. During the Copenhagen Ink Festival Jacob did ’The Hop & the Hand’ (San Francisco Bar logo) on Mikkeller & Friends’ bartender, Jonathan Pramborn, who’s upper arm is also decorated with the Mikkeller & Friends hat logo made by Jonas.
