One year birthday in the City of Smiles

The time has come to celebrate that Mikkeller Bar Aarhus has been serving great beer in the city of smiles for one year!

The first year in Aarhus has been amazing and since day one we’ve been overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the huge demand for good beer from our beloved friends, guest and regulars in Aarhus. Already at the grand opening we experienced how Aarhus likes to party and ever since people have been talking about that day when Mikkeller opened its doors in Aarhus. The vibe from that day is still to be found in the bar and we can’t thank you enough for the big support.

Many things have happened during the first year. A bunch of great tap takeovers, pop-ups and great food is just some of the highlights. And with our new outpost at Mikkeller Bottle Shop Aarhus we promise you that we’ll get even more, better and crazier beers to Aarhus. We’ll prove that with a pop up bottle shop at the bar on the birthday featuring breweries as Funky Buddha, Tired Hands and Cantillon.

The future for all beer lovers in Aarhus looks bright. Early December we have a very nice tap takeover with some beers from a US brewery never seen before in Aarhus. And once again we’ll host the annual new year's afternoon party. For 2017 the first beers are on their way and awesome tap takeovers are planned. Also expect more crazy stuff coming in from Mikkeller San Diego.

A big deal for us is our newly announced friendship with the music venue Fonden Voxhall (Voxhall & Atlas). This spring it’ll be possible to enjoy good beer while listening to great live music and acts at their cool stages. This is truly a great thing and a benchmark for us.

Another chapter in our story is Mikkeller Running Club which is happening every month. It’s always such a delight to be the clubhouse for this amazing running club. We celebrate that with the MRC birthday party on December 3rd.

Birthday Program:

The birthday party will start early on November 26th with free beers and a pop up bottle shop. Delicious food will also be available. This day is as much our day as yours, so we want to spoil everyone with a lot of cool beers. We looked deep and found brews that will ensure the best and most exclusive tap list that Aarhus has ever seen. Some of the beers on tap will be:
