Tired Hands in Denmark!

This weekend, Tired Hands Brewing Company will be dropping some serious beer-bombs over Denmark. Because freshness is key, we rented a cargo plane and carefully loaded it with some of their latest and most recently tapped beers.

Kick-off is this Friday at 2pm at no less than 4 Mikkeller locations!

Mikkeller Bottle shop Copenhagen
(cans only)

Big Dream Sympathetic (First time in Europe)
- Double IPA brewed with spelt and oats. Hopped intensely with Mosaic, Azacca, Simcoe, and Centennial.

Ardmorian IPA (First time in Europe)
- Brewed with rye and a touch of caramel malt. Hopped intensely and singularly with Centennial. Super bright and citrusy.

Strawberry Milkshake IPA
- Brewed with oats and lactose sugar. Fermented atop strawberries (a high pectin fruit) and vanilla beans. Hopped intensely with Mosaic and Citra. We also added wheat flour and 50 lbs of local apples (a high pectin fruit) to the boil. Brewed in collaboration with Omnipollo.

Hophands APA
- Exceedingly Aromatic Pale Ale. Brewed with oats and hopped with a blend of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial.

Creative Director (European release!)
- Guava/Salt Single Hop IPA. The beer world is big. The beer world is also way bigger than just beer. I believe that you taste with your eyes before you taste with your tongue. Being that this beer is in a can, we wanted you to taste "strange and cool" with your eyes before you taste "strange and cool" with your tongue. Creative Director was brewed exclusively with Citra in homage to Mikkeller's pioneering Single Hop series that set the beer world on fire many moons ago. Conditioned atop gobs of guava purée in homage to our perpetual marrying of hops and various fruits. Then we added salt just because we were feeling like a bunch of Creative Directors.

Shambolic (top 50 saison på Rate Beer - first time in Europe)
- Dry Hopped Spelt Saison. Well hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe. Bright and dank... Herbaceous pineapple juice.

Enhanced Sincerity (First time in Europe)
- Merlot Grape Saison brewed with oats and wheat. Primary fermented on house-stomped, Pennsylvania grown Merlot grapes form Karamoor Estate with out house microflora as well as miscroflora from the vineyard.
