Mikkeller/Boon Part II
In November of 2016 we had the honorable pleasure of spending a day at Brouwerij Boon with the master himself, Frank Boon. The reason for our visit was to blend a beer together, much like how we conjured up Bone Dry from 2015, but with the idea of going in a different direction this time around.
After sampling a vast variety of lambic straight from his fouders (one dating as far back as 1883), we decided on a blend of three different (both young and old) Calvados-aged lambics.
The beer is currently bottle conditioning and will be ready in time for this years Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen, where it will see a grand release.
