London Craft Beer Festival
Yescher designed our stand and we were ready to go!
The 5th London Beer Craft Festival was celebrated in a great new venue in Shoreditch. The breweries were separated into two big halls and our stand had some familiar neighbors with Nothern Monk and Cloudwater on each side, other great breweries like Other Half, Beavertown, Sierre Nevada and Oskar Blues were all gathered, in the big hall side by side.
Beautiful blueberry berliner weisse
We had packed the tap list with great fruity sours and the people were loving it, so much so that for every new session people were coming over asking for the beers we had last session. Both Spontancasis and Spontanpeach were an undeniable success as we were the only one in the building serving Lambic.
Empty Capenhagen. a normal sight at the beginning of every session
During the 5 sessions we met some pretty hardcore Mikkeller fans who were especially pleased that we had brought the brand new NE IPA Capenhagen. We divided the few cans we had so that we could make pours for every session, but sold out pretty quickly.
Each of the 5 sessions were packed, and there was a line on the street to get in, inside the party was on. During the evening sessions it sort of turned in to a disco with red and blue lights and a DJ, which was a surprise to us.
Happy MRC runners with their well deserved beer
By Sunday it was time for the Mikkeller Running Club, which had a great turnout, lead by the chapter captain Carl, who had been around the festival all weekend.
The London crowd was great, and we were pleased to serve them.
Thanks for a crazy buzy festival and thank you London!
