Today we add another two acts to the line-up for HAVEN 2018 and - we would also like you to come celebrate spring with us with a special DJ-set from Den Sorte Skole, tasting of a beer brewed on site at HAVEN 2017 and a little taste of some of the food you can get at HAVEN 2018.

A DJ-set by one of our favourite Danish live-acts, beer brewed at HAVEN 2017, a little tasting of some of the enticing food you can get at HAVEN 2018 and even a little exercise, is what you can expect from this full day of experiences brought to you by the HAVEN partners Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, Claus Meyer, Bryce Dessner and Aaron Dessner.
With over 110 different beers and visits from a variety of international top brewers, HAVEN is not your common festival when it comes to beer. Apart from the expertly curated beer line-up, Mikkel Borg-Bjergsø set up a number of live-brewing sessions. One of those beers are finally ready. A Madeira port wine barrel aged stout! We want to celebrate with a beer run, Pig & Chick hotdogs from Meyers and a special DJ-set from our friends in Den Sorte Skole. The event is free and it happens at the Mikkeller Brewery and bar called ‘Baghaven’.

Taste of HAVEN #1 - 21/4 - 2018
Mikkeller Running Club - HAVEN Edition - 11:00
Departing from Meyers Deli at Gl. Kongevej 107, we run to Baghaven at Refshaleøen. Everyone can join. Meyer provides refreshments before the run, and Mikkeller take care of the post-run chill out with a complimentary beer. Free HAVEN t-shirts for all runners, until stock runs out - so be there early! Mikkeller Beer release - 13:00
HAVEN Beer Release & Pig & Chick hotdogs - 16:00
The release of the beer brewed at HAVEN 2017, a madeira port wine barrel aged stout, at Baghaven. All proceeds from the HAVEN Beer go to Hjernebarnet.
As a supplement to your beer, you can get a taste of one of the delicious food offerings from Meyers at this years festival: The Pig & Chick hotdog. A hotdog based on free-range pork and chicken hearts. Developed for the occasion by Meyers very own sausage expert Erik Lautrup Nielsen.

Den Sorte Skole (DJ-set) - 18:00
Prior to their only Danish festival concert in 2018 at HAVEN, critically acclaimed Danish duo Den Sorte Skole will be playing a special DJ-set at Baghaven. Expect a poetic tour de force in world, pop, avant-garde, electronica, classical, noise and a wealth of other genres as the eclectic DJ duo demonstrate an unparalleled level of intelligence and skill in their selection and mixing.

Baghaven is home to several large oak barrels and a microbiological laboratory where Mikkeller brews some of its award-winning beers with wild yeast and advanced bacterial cultures. Baghaven was a part of the HAVEN festival last year.

HAVEN is a festival of taste and experiences, and this year is no exception.
When the HAVEN festival takes place over the course of two days in August, it’s more of a culmination, a final party, than an isolated event. HAVEN is not your typical festival; it strives to be a present and palpable force all year round by curating a number of events in collaboration with several other cultural players in Copenhagen.
