From CPH to UK on a bullitt bike

From Denmark to England on a Bicycle. That's what Ed from hebtroco is doing.

we're with him all the way. or, our beers are!

Awesome video, right?

When you decide to come all the way to Denmark to pick up a Danish built cargo bike and ride it back to the UK while, at the same time, auctioning off goods for charity, you earn our deepest respect. In December, Ed from HebTroCo is doing just that.

Starting in Copenhagen, Ed is going on a journey through the European landscape on a Bullitt cargo bike. En route he's making pop-ups at different venues before reaching the final destination in Shipley, UK.

To test the durability of the cargo bike, Ed's bringing both clothes and beer to auction off for charity at the venues. All proceeds from the auctions will be split between Danish charity Hjernebarnet, who support children with brain injuries, and English charity Candlelighters who supports children battling cancer.

The first two stops on Ed's trip will take him to Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade in CPH and Mikkeller bar Berlin.

Pop Up Dates & Locations:

Friday 5th JanuaryMikkeller Bar Viktoriagade, Copenhagen, Denmark

Friday 12th JanuaryMikkeller Berlin, Germany

Thursday 18th January – Fenix Food Factory, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Friday 26th January – The Triangle, Shipley, England

Ed will ride to each of these venues on his Bullitt cargo bike. On board will be a selection of HebTroCo trousers, jackets, belts and boots to look at and try on, along with a range of exclusive and rare Mikkeller beers to be auctioned.

You might have noticed that all the venues are bars, so chances are it’s going to be good fun. And if you do happen to be close when he's passing by we definitely urge you to give him a warm welcome.
