San Francisco Beer Week 2018 at Mikkeller Sf!

San Francisco beer week 2018 is upon us. Below you will find a list of the events at Mikkeller SF. There will be three large events (42 tap takeovers) that are open to the public along with some side events within those events and three ticketed events in the Sour Room. Numerous breweries will be featured throughout the week so everyone will have the chance to try some amazing beers. Please keep in mind that beer quantities are limited as they come in 5-gallon batches. So we found as many special beers as we could. (over 180 different beers so far for one week.) We are very excited about our events this year, both the tap takeovers and the ticketed events, Ticketed events are limited, so please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Annual Event on the 1st Saturday of Beer Week
11am-2am.
This is an all-day event open to the public

Featuring beers from Mikkeller SD. We have been collecting a copious amount of SD beers. In addition, some Mikkeller Viking Club beers will be poured. This is a 42 tap take over folks! Yes! Forty-two of the freshest or Barrel aged beers from San Diego we could get. Breweries included are Mikkeller SD, Alesmith, Lost Abbey, Monkey Paw, Port Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, Refuge, Societe, Coronado Brewer Series, Mike Hess, and more. Please keep checking back as more breweries are added. The beer list will be continually updated as the beers arrive. Mikkeller SF is happy to host Modern Times for a ticketed "sour beer and cheese pairing" event hosted in Mikkeller's Tivoli Sour Room, on the same day.

We are thrilled to keep the tradition of pouring Modern Time's collection of limited release sours. These bottles are currently released only on-site at the Modern Times Brewery in San Diego, up until now. Both bottles and drafts are extremely limited. Jackie Marsh and one of the head Brewers/Blenders of Modern Times will be in attendance to explain the process & answer questions.
This is a ticketed event, that guarantees you FIVE 6oz. bottle pours and THREE 6 oz. draft pours and a beer. Over 50oz of beer paired with a variety of artisanal cheeses, fresh seasonal fruits, along with rich desserts to be paired with the dark beers. Bottle pours include the following five beers: News from Nowhere, Looking Backwards, Kingdom of Dolls, Shadow Mountain, and Amitie Universelle. (Some are variants of the original beer) Special drafts include the following: World Tree Sour (w/ stone fruits), Elf Quarters Funky Tart Wit (w/ kumquat), Lightning Helix Sour, Monsters Park Vanilla BA Stout, and Lightening Calculator DIPA.

Tickets are $80.00, includes beer, food, tax, and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Ticket Link below. Tickets go on sale Jan.15th.
